Hi just from changed from 02 after many many years to iD ,
I live on close to the border between Northern ireland and Republic of ireland , and travel between UK to ROI daily , and alot of the time my phone when at home picks up the strong iD 3 IRL signal
i known i can change serttings to manual network and keep on iD 3 uk
This has never been a problem before with O2 because 02 roams on 3irl in the ROI
However i read that iD terms and conditions state that you cant roam anymore than 64 days in a 4 month period ?
Just wondering has anybody in a similar situation had this enforced ?

Hi @Paulc123
iD Mobile’s roaming policy does include a fair usage limit, which generally means you shouldn’t use your phone outside the UK (including ROI) for more than around 63–64 days in a 4-month period. This is in place to prevent permanent roaming rather than occasional or reasonable cross-border use.
In situations like yours, where you live near the border and your phone occasionally connects to an Irish network (like 3 IRL) due to stronger signal, this is usually treated differently from intentional long-term roaming. keeping your network set to manual (iD UK) when possible is a good precaution.
