Roaming beyond refusing to work in Turkey

I’ve been in Turkey a week and my roam beyond add on simply hasn’t worked. I’ve tried everything I can think of to send texts via what’s app and Facebook messenger when I’m out and about, and it’s simply not having a bar of it. It just hangs there saying connecting. Signal is good here, so it’s not that, and the apps that I am using are enabled for mobile data. Looks like I’ve wasted £35 for the add on. I’ve not been able to access a single mb of the allowance.

I’m using an iPhone 15 pro max.

 

Anyone have any ideas

Hi there ​@CeriRowe, sorry to hear that. Have you tried resetting network settings and manually connecting to each available network to see if it works?

 

Have you also enabled roaming via the iD Mobile app/website, and also your phone’s own settings?

Yes all my network settings are correct. 
 

I’ve enabled roaming on the phone and within the ID app. 
 

Not getting any joy. Screen just says connecting and it just hangs there.

I’ve got exactly the same issue here in Turkey! Any ideas how to get a refund on the add on as it’s not worked despite trying all recommended advice?
