I bought a 20GB 10 day package, 5 days ago. I've been using WiFi connections most of the time, and have barely used 1GB of data.Today I received this message: You're now using chargeable roaming services, so calls, texts and data won't be taken from your UK allowances. For roaming charges, visit idmobile.co.uk/roaming . To check your spend, change your bill cap, or see if a Roam Beyond data add-on is available, log in to the iD Mobile app.

Is there a way to speak to someone and challenge how ID think I've used 20GB in 5 days when my monthly data usage for July is under 6GB

Hi @Davide Poli,

I can understand why that message would be concerning, especially if you've mainly been using Wi-Fi and don't believe you've used anywhere near 20GB of roaming data.

It's worth noting that the message about chargeable roaming services isn't necessarily linked to data usage alone. It can also be triggered by chargeable calls, texts or other roaming activity, depending on the country you're in and the services being used.

I've just sent you a private message so we can take a closer look and help get this sorted.

To find it, click your profile picture in the top-right corner and select Private Messages.

You can also access your inbox directly here: https://community.idmobile.co.uk/inbox/overview

We'll speak to you there.

Thanks,
