Unfortunately, Northern Cyprus is not covered by our Turkey roaming bundles. Although it is geographically connected to Cyprus, it operates as a separate territory for roaming purposes, which means a Turkey roaming bundle would not work there.

As a result, you would not have been able to use the bundle while connected to networks in Northern Cyprus.

If you'd like to continue using your iD Mobile service while there, you'll need to increase your bill cap, as any usage would be charged at standard out-of-plan roaming rates.

You can do this in the iD Mobile app or online account:

• Open the app
• Go to My Services
• Select Bill Cap
• Increase the amount and save the changes

We'd also recommend contacting our Live Chat team once you're able to do so. They can review the bundle purchase and discuss whether any refund or credit may be available given the circumstances.

So I am visiting Northern Cyprus in September, is it not possible to add on a roaming package for my holiday?

We can confirm that allowances are free to use in Cypurs, but not Northern Cyprus. 

We offer Roam Beyond add-ons for destinations including Turkey, however these do not cover Northern Cyprus. If your phone connects to a network in Northern Cyprus, any usage will be charged at the standard out-of-plan roaming rates.

You are able to set your bill cap to £0.00 before you go abroad, to avoid any chances of connecting to the wrong network and being charged.
