What happens after I’ve used 30G when roaming. Does it automatically stop or will I start getting charged?

Hi @Kirk9501,

Once you go over the 30GB roaming allowance, your data does not automatically stop. Additional roaming charges can apply, depending on your plan.

If you have a Bill Cap set, any additional roaming charges will count towards that cap. Once the cap is reached, further chargeable usage will be blocked. You can also purchase an appropriate roaming add-on where available to help manage your data usage.

To avoid unexpected charges, you can set your Bill Cap to £0 before travelling.

Thanks,

I've just used over 100gb data on a trip to Spain. My spend cap is set to 0.    According to their own pages the 30gb is still suspended until further notice.    You can still currently use all of your mobile data allowance within roam free counties

Hi @Stoobs79.

Thank you for your post.

You are right the standard fair usage policy limit of 30GB per month normally applies to plans with larger allowances, iD Mobile has temporarily lifted this cap, allowing you to use your full UK data allowance abroad until further notice.

Thanks,
