roaming Turkey

Hi, I'm travelling to Turkey and want to keep using my UK iD Mobile number so people can still call and speak to me. I don't want callers to hear an international announcement or anything that reveals I'm roaming abroad. Can you confirm what callers hear when they ring my number in Turkey, and whether there is any setting to prevent this?

Hi @Mateusz lucjanek.

Thank you for sharing.

Anyone who calls your UK iD Mobile number while you are in Turkey will not hear any announcement or message saying that you are abroad.

The call will connect as normal, and when you call someone from Turkey, your UK number will show on their caller ID exactly as it does at home.

There isn’t a setting you need to change for this.

Thanks,

Marquerita

However anyone calling you will hear a different ring tone to the one you get normally [if receiving in UK].
