At the moment, the EU roaming data limit restriction has been lifted, which means you should currently be able to use your normal monthly data allowance whilst roaming in included EU destinations such as Greece.

So, if your plan includes unlimited data, your app may therefore show unlimited usage whilst roaming as well.

To help ensure the best roaming experience in Greece, we’d recommend manually connecting to either:

• WIND Hellas
• COSMOTE

You can do this by:

• Going to Settings
• Opening Mobile Network / Cellular
• Selecting Network Operators
• Turning Automatic OFF
• Choosing WIND Hellas or COSMOTE

We’d also strongly recommend setting your bill cap to £0.00 within the iD Mobile app under:

• My Services
• Manage Bill Cap

This is particularly important whilst travelling around the Greek islands, as ferries and coastal areas can sometimes cause the phone to briefly connect to maritime networks or nearby non-EU countries such as Albania or Turkey, which are chargeable destinations and not included within EU roaming.

Setting the bill cap to £0.00 can help prevent unexpected out-of-plan roaming charges if the phone accidentally connects to one of these chargeable networks.
