TEXT MSG FROM ID RE: INDIA 5-DAY ADD ON EXPIRING WHEN I HAVEN'T PURCHASES ANY ADD-ONs

I am new to ID Mobile (joined just last week) and all has gone very smoothly.

However, yesterday I received a text msg from ID Mobile saying “Just a heads up, your India 5-Day Add-on with 10gb expires tomorrow…...” and then saying I can purchase another Add-on.

Well I have no links with India whatsoever and I definitely did not purchase an India Add-on in the first place.  I am very concerned that this is either a scam or error on ID’s part which I will be charged for.

Has anyone else had this happen or know anything about it?

Hi @jeannieking ,

Thanks for getting in touch, and welcome to iD Mobile! I'm really glad to hear your experience has gone smoothly so far.
Regarding the text message about the India 5-Day Add-on, I completely understand your concern, especially since you haven’t purchased this add-on and have no links to India.
I’d like to reassure you that this is not a scam, and you won’t be charged for anything you haven’t requested. It looks like this message may have been sent in error,
