unable to use phine in USA even woth go beyond data add on and phine set ip correctly

I bought the data roaming add on for 10 days use in USA. On arrival the phone has connected to network and has service and is all settings set up correctly but will not connect to anything on mobile data. So basically been left without any data and have been ripped off paying for a service that doesn’t work. After now reading other post on the forum I see this is a common issue. ID Mobile, I will be expecting a refund on the add on! Please contact me asap and don’t suggest I try all the troubleshooting tips as I have checked all them!

Thank you for your message, and I’m really sorry to hear you’ve had this experience while travelling, I understand how frustrating it is to pay for a roaming add-on and not be able to use it.

 

If you’re still in the USA, the first thing to double-check is that your phone is manually connected to one of our partner networks. Please try selecting either:

  • AT&T, or
  • T-Mobile

 

Once connected, it can also help to do a network settings reset on your phone, as this often clears roaming connection issues and allows data to start working properly.

 

If you’ve already done the above, or if you’re now back in the UK, please let us know as soon as possible so we can look into this further with you and check the add-on on your account.

 

We’ll make sure this is properly reviewed so you’re not left out of pocket if the service hasn’t worked as expected.
