Hi, I’m currently abroad and my SIM has no signal.
Can you please enable unconditional call forwarding (divert all calls) on my number to another UK number from your side?

Hi @Marwa_1992,

I understand it's frustrating to be abroad without a signal, especially when you're expecting important calls.

However, I must be clear: iD Mobile is unable to manually set up or change call forwarding on your behalf from our side. This is a security measure to protect your account and ensure that your calls are not redirected without your direct authorization via your handset.

Before addressing the divert, we should check why your roaming isn't active. Please ensure:

  • Roaming is ON in your iD Mobile app settings (under ‘Roaming and International’).
  • Your Roaming Cap is not set to £0, as this can sometimes prevent connection to a local network.
  • Manual Network Selection: Try going into your phone settings and manually selecting a different local network provider.

How to manage Call Forwarding

Since we cannot do this for you, you must manage these settings via your device. If you can get even a temporary signal by switching networks manually, you can use the following shortcodes:

  • To divert all calls: Dial **21* [Phone Number] #
  • To cancel all diverts: Dial ##21#

Please Note: If you successfully set up a divert to another UK number while abroad, you will be charged at your standard roaming rate for the duration of those calls, as the call is technically being routed through your iD SIM.
