using data roaming abroad

I've purchased a data roaming add on for 5 days in Turkey but I'm struggling to enable it on my phone. I've tried resetting the network settings, restarting my phone, turning flight mode on and back off... I'm worried I've spent £20 on something I'm not going to get any use from. Any help would be much appreciated
