You can use your iD Mobile plan in Hungary, Croatia and Spain, subject to our roaming policies and any applicable fair usage limits.

While in Hungary, Croatia or Spain, calls and texts to UK numbers are covered by your allowance in the same way as they would be in the UK. However, if you're looking to call Hungarian or Spanish landline and mobile numbers, these would be treated as international calls and are chargeable. Regarding China, this is part of iD Mobile's Roam Beyond zone, which means your UK allowance won't work there. It's also important to note that the available Roam Beyond add-ons are data-only.

These are suitable for things like maps, messaging apps and browsing, but they don't include calls or texts. Any standard calls or SMS messages will be charged separately at the applicable out-of-plan roaming rates.

How Roam Beyond add-ons work:

• You can purchase a data-only bundle through the iD Mobile app or your online account.
• The add-on starts immediately once purchased and lasts for a fixed duration.
• When it expires, you'll need to purchase another add-on or you'll be charged standard roaming rates (provided your bill cap allows this).
• Your UK allowance of minutes and texts won't be available while in China.

How to check your bill cap:
Log in to the iD Mobile app or your online account, go to Bills and select Manage bill cap. From there, you can view or amend your bill cap if required.

*** Data is charged or deducted in one kilobyte (KB) increments and any part KB used will be rounded up to the nearest KB.

Tip:
Depending on how long you’re staying, it may be more cost-effective to get a local SIM in China. Since the bundles last a maximum of 10 days, you may need to purchase multiple add-ons, which can become expensive.
