why wouldnt my plan with roaming allow me to call a spanish number when im in spain

I’m sorry for the confusion around this. I understand how important it is to know what’s included when you’re abroad.
 

Yes, if your plan includes roaming in Spain, you should generally be able to call Spanish numbers like the one mentioned ,as long as your roaming allowance covers calls and you have no restrictions or spend cap limits reached.
 

Please try the following if you’re having issues:

• Make sure Data Roaming is turned ON in your phone settings
• Check you have signal and are connected to a local Spanish network
• Restart your phone
• Try dialling the number in full international format (+34...)
• Ensure your spend cap has not been reached or restricted
• Turn Airplane Mode ON for 30 seconds, then OFF to refresh the connection

Some numbers (like certain business or premium-rate numbers starting 902 in Spain) can sometimes have restrictions depending on the network or may not be included in allowances.
