cancelling old ID plan to transfer to new plan

I had a phone contract with ID. I bought an esim yesterday and activated it. How do I cancel my old plan and get my new plan to show? It won’t let me switch to ID as my old contract was already with them. I also want to keep my old number

Thanks for your post.

Unfortunately, iD Mobile doesn't support internal number transfers between iD Mobile accounts.

If your old plan is with iD Mobile and you've taken out a new iD Mobile eSIM plan, we won't be able to move your existing number onto the new plan.

The only ways to keep your existing number are:

Upgrading your current iD Mobile plan.
Transferring the number to another network and then back again if required.

As you've already purchased the new plan, we'd recommend contacting the point of sale to discuss returning it, if eligible. You can then contact our Sales Team to discuss upgrading your existing plan correctly while keeping your current number.
