Solved

I am leaving the country for 6 months and want to keep my number.

I am on a 1 month rolling contract.

What is the best, meaning cheapest way? I am happy to stay with ID, but will leave if I have to.

Also, my contract started on the 30th of the month, and I am also flying on the 30th September, does that mean that I would be looking for payment for September being the last one? And if so when would that be made? And how do I cancel this?

Thanks,

Andy

    Hi @Andrew74.

Thank you for your post, and for confirming that you’re on a 1‑month rolling contract.

We won’t stop providing services on your contract expiry date unless we receive a disconnection request directly from you. If you’d like to stay with iD but reduce your costs, you can upgrade to a cheaper plan at any time via your account or the app.

If you do wish to leave, we offer the following disconnection options:

Cancel with a STAC code – This cancels your service immediately and you do not keep your number. You must provide the STAC code to your new network (if you’re moving to one). If you don’t use the STAC code, your account will remain active. Please do not choose this option if you’re unable to provide the STAC code to another provider.

Cancel with a PAC code – This transfers your existing number to a different network.

30‑day disconnection – You can request a 30‑day notice period and continue using the service until the contract ends after those 30 days.

Regarding your September payment: as you’re on a rolling monthly contract, you’ll be billed for each full billing period up until your service is disconnected. If you choose a 30‑day notice, your final payment would cover that final 30‑day period.

    Thanks,

    Marquerita

    Thanks for that info.

How long will the pac be valid?

    Hi @Andrew74.

You are welcome. A PAC code is valid for 30 days.
