Hi @Macyhl

Finding your contract details and understanding your notice period is straightforward, but it’s important to follow the correct steps to avoid any unexpected Early Termination Fees.

1. How to Check Your Contract End Date
The easiest way to find out exactly when your minimum term ends is via the iD Mobile app or your online account.

In the App:

  • Log in to the iD Mobile app.
  • Tap on the 'Plan' or 'Account' tab.
  • Select 'Contract details' (or 'My Plan').
  • Your Contract End Date will be clearly displayed here.

2. How to Give NoticeIf you have decided to leave us, you must provide 30 days' notice. Please note that if you are still within your minimum term, you will likely be liable for an Early Termination Fee, which is calculated based on the remaining months of your contract.  You have three main ways to give notice:

  • Option A: Cancel and Switch (Keeping your number)Request a PAC (Porting Authorisation Code). Once you give this to your new provider, your iD account will close automatically when the number transfers. How: Text 'PAC' and your Date of Birth (DDMMYY) to 65075.
  • Option B: Cancel and Switch (New number)Request a STAC (Service Termination Authorisation Code) if you want a fresh start with a new number.  How: Text 'STAC' and your Date of Birth (DDMMYY) to 75075.
  • Option C: Standard Disconnection (No switching)If you just want to end the service entirely without moving to another network:
  1. Log in to the iD Mobile app or website.
  2. Go to the 'Plan' section.
  3. Scroll down to 'Leave iD'.Select 'Cancel my iD Plan'.
  4. Note: This will trigger the 30-day notice period. Your service will remain active, and you will be billed for these final 30 days.

Do not simply stop your Direct Debit. This does not count as giving notice. If you cancel your payment without following the proper disconnection process, it will be marked as a missed payment, which can negatively impact your credit score and result in debt collection action.

If you are having trouble with the app, you can always use our Live Chat on the official iD Mobile website to speak with an agent who can process the notice for you.
