Question

Not recieving NHS calls

Hello,

I have a Poco F8 Pro and in the last month or so have stopped recieving NHS phone calls, I've closely checked my mobile network settings and blocked numbers settings and would confidently say they're not the issue. I've turned off WiFi phonecalls, unblocked all previously blocked numbers. I've tried dialling ##002# and I get an error "Connection problem or invalid MMI code. (0)"

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I think I'm going to have to cancel my contract if I can't get this working asap.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Hi @ChristyOfarrell216,

We're sorry to hear you're having trouble receiving important calls.

As you've already checked blocked numbers, disabled WiFi Calling and reviewed your settings, we'd recommend trying a few additional checks:

  • Test your SIM in another handset (if possible) to see whether the issue follows the SIM or stays with the phone.
  • Try another SIM in your Poco F8 Pro, if available.
  • Ensure your phone software is fully up to date.
  • Reset your network settings.
  • Check whether Do Not Disturb, Call Screening, or any third-party call filtering apps are active.
  • Make sure your network selection is set to Automatic.

If you're only missing NHS calls, it may also be worth asking the NHS service whether they're receiving an error message when attempting to call you, as this can help narrow down the cause.

If the issue continues after these checks, please contact our Customer Service team via Live Chat. They can investigate whether there's an issue with incoming call routing on the line and arrange further troubleshooting if needed: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

We appreciate how important these calls are and hope we can help get this resolved for you.

Regards,
