Can to make a request to leave once you hit 30 days left on contract. (essentially giving a notice period)?

I’m sorry to hear you’re thinking of leaving. Yes, you can request to leave up to 30 days before your plan ends.

 

You have three options:

 

  1. You can cancel with a STAC code to cancel immediately without keeping the number. You will have to provide the STAC code to any other network that you are with besides iD mobile. If you do not use the STAC code the account will stay active. Please do not choose this option if you are not able to provide the STAC code to a different provider.
  2. You can cancel with a PAC code to transfer the number to a different network.
  3. You can have a 30-day disconnection and still use the service until the contract disconnects after 30 days.

Hi its my 30days today.i want to keep this number and stay with id but need to take out a new contract as they are cheaper through carphone wearhouse £5 amonth cheaper!so I understand i need to pac THIS number to a payg sim then pac it over back to my NEW id contract... is this correct as I'm told I dont give 30days as it will terminate the number.…

Thank you for reaching out.

 

You are able to request a PAC code however please note that we don’t support internal number switching between iD Mobile accounts. This means you wouldn’t be able to move your number from your current iD plan to a new iD contract using a PAC.

 

To keep your existing number with iD Mobile, the correct option would be to upgrade your current plan via our sales team, rather than taking out a new contract.

 

If you still wish to request a PAC code, you can do this in the following ways:

 

Via the iD Mobile app:

  1. Log in to the iD Mobile app
  2. Go to My Account
  3. Select Switch or Leave iD
  4. Choose Get a PAC code and follow the steps

Via SMS:

  • Text PAC to 65075 from your iD Mobile number

Once requested, your PAC code will be sent to you via text and is valid for 30 days.
