I'm fed up can't get any answer about RCD Chat. I never had this with other providers I find ID Mobile very difficult without.

All of a sudden I can do RCS TEXT but WONT let me include special writing like HAPPY BIRTHDAY TEDDY it just won't send anymore

Can't get anyone to help. So I will have to leave to use my usual service again. I have sim only is it 30 days notice please. So fed up

I’m sorry you’ve had so much difficulty getting help with your RCS messages. Please try the following steps:

Restart your phone and try sending the message again.
Turn Airplane Mode on for around 30 seconds, then turn it off.
Check that RCS or Chat features are still enabled in your messaging settings.
Make sure your phone software and messaging app are fully up to date.
If you use Google Messages, go to Messages > Profile picture > Messages settings > RCS chats and check that the status shows as connected.
Try sending the same message to another contact to check whether the issue affects all recipients or just one.

If the issue continues, please let me know the make and model of your phone so I can provide the correct steps for your device.

Hi Tashnieka thanks I actually did this yesterday and it corrected everything cleared messages cash too. But its doing it again today.

I can send RCD messages fine but it won't let me add the little extra messages etc. Cleared cash airplane mode etc again now working again. Never had this problem with RCD before.

Thank you for the update. I’m sorry the issue has returned after the troubleshooting initially resolved it.

As the problem temporarily improves after clearing the cache and refreshing the connection, please try the following:

Update Google Messages, Carrier Services, and your phone’s software.
Open Messages > Profile picture > Messages settings > RCS chats and check that the status shows Connected.
Turn RCS chats off, restart your phone, then turn RCS chats back on and allow the number to verify again.
Make sure Google Messages is set as your default SMS app and that you have an active Wi-Fi or mobile-data connection.
If the issue happens again, clear the cache for both Google Messages and Carrier Services, then force-stop the apps before reopening Messages
