unable to recieve texts

I cannot recieve texts to verify my credit card app. I tried resetting my network mobile provider sittings in Android. Please help quickly.

Thanks for reaching out. I understand how urgent this is. If you’re unable to receive texts, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

Restart your phone.
 

Check your network settings and ensure SMS is enabled.

Toggle Airplane mode on and off to reconnect to the network.

Test the SIM in another phone if possible to see if messages come through.

I've done the first 3 steps and am unable to do the 4th one yet. No joy I'm afraid.
