Question

voicemail issue

Hi,

I used to be able to access my voicemails and I would also receive a text synopsis. I now cannot retrieve my voicemails. The system tries to guide me through voicemail set up (no idea why as it wasn’t required previously) and seems to be incapable of recording my name so I cannot complete the process. I don’t even want to leave my name and a greeting but there is no option to bypass this. Please can you revert to my previous settings. This is beyond irritating and if it’s going to be a difficult/frustrating process to fix then I will simply cancel my contract and move to another provider.

    Hi @Izki1,

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your voicemail, especially when it was previously working without any issues.

Unfortunately, we're unable to revert voicemail settings or reset them from the Community. However, it sounds like your voicemail may have been reset or become partially unconfigured, which is why it's trying to take you through the setup process again.

If the system won't accept your recorded name, you could try recording a short silence instead, which some customers have found allows the setup process to complete. Once completed, check whether you're then able to access your voicemail messages as normal.

If you're still unable to complete the setup or access your voicemail, we'd recommend contacting our Customer Service Team via Live Chat so they can investigate further and, if necessary, raise the issue with our Technical Team.

I'm sorry for the frustration this has caused, and I hope we can get your voicemail working properly again soon.

    Regards,
