Hi! My contract term ends on 20 September 2026, and I’m usually charged around the 5th of each month.
On 11 August, I checked the “Leave iD” section because I originally thought the plan worked on a pay-then-use basis, so I assumed my payment at the beginning of August would be my last normal payment. At that point, I was shown an estimated final bill of £44.98, even though my usual monthly payment is £34.19.
I therefore assumed I was trying to leave too early and decided to wait.
Yesterday 20 August, I received a message saying I’m now eligible to upgrade, and as I don’t want to upgrade, I went back to the “Leave iD” section to arrange for my contract to end. However, it is now showing an estimated final bill of £69.05.
Could you please explain why the estimated amount has increased from £44.98 to £69.05 and why am I even being charged? Should it not be £0?
I do not want to leave before my minimum term ends. I simply want to give notice now and have my service end on 20 September 2026, when my contract finishes, without paying an early termination fee.
Could you please confirm how to do this?
