Hi,
I placed an order for an ID Mobile SIM using the link for a £60 Amazon voucher (administered by Giftcloud) via the Money Saving Expert website. I received a confirmation email “An Update on your Gift” from ID Mobile thanking me for my order and asking me to complete my order on the ID Mobile website to receive the voucher, which I duly did. I can evidence this via emails showing I now have the ID Mobile SIM and that I am paying monthly by DD. I followed all the instructions, allowing cookies, watching my spam folder, no ad blocker etc.
I expected the Giftcloud voucher for £60 for Amazon in Sept (after 120 days) but this has not arrived. I have checked my spam email folder to be sure.
I have tried resolving this via Giftcloud, and they asked some several data points (email/date/transaction no/order no) to investigate, all of which I have except for an Order Number. I have checked all my emails and texts from ID Mobile but I cannot find an Order Number.
I have seen a lot of correspondence from other consumers with the same issue and being passed between ID Mobile and Giftcloud without resolution, many feeling like this is a scam to gain subscribers without honouring the contract for the voucher. On the Giftcloud web site it says “Please note that we act only as a data processor—the final decision on approval or decline comes directly from the brand”.
Please can someone help me resolve this?
