Thank you for reaching out, and I'm sorry to hear that you're having difficulty enabling biometrics in the iD Mobile app. I understand how frustrating this can be, especially when biometric authentication is working correctly with your other apps.

Please try the following:

• Fully close the iD Mobile app and reopen it.
• Restart your handset and try enabling biometrics again.
• Check that the iD Mobile app has permission to use biometric authentication in your phone's settings.
• Make sure the iD Mobile app is updated to the latest version available from your app store.
• If you're using an iPhone, check Settings > Face ID & Passcode and make sure Face ID is enabled and working correctly.
• If you're using Android, check Settings > Security/Biometrics and make sure fingerprint authentication is enabled.

If the biometrics option still won't switch on after trying these steps, please try and access the account via the website to see if this works.
