Hi, where do I see what data I have used so far and what on? Do ID Mobile provide data usage info like other providers?

Thanks for your question I’ll explain this clearly, as it does differ slightly from other networks.

 

📊 Can you see your data usage with iD Mobile?
✅ What you can see

On iD Mobile, you can check your usage in:

  • The iD Mobile app
  • Or your online account (My Account)

Here you’ll see:

  • Your remaining allowances (data, minutes, texts)
  • Your plan details and billing info


⚠️ What you can’t see (key point)

iD Mobile does not provide a detailed, real-time breakdown of:

  • Exactly how much data you’ve used day-to-day
  • Which apps or services used your data

If you’re on an unlimited data plan, the app may only show unlimited rather than actual usage.

 

📱 Best way to track actual usage (recommended)
🤖 On Samsung / Android:

Go to:
Settings → Connections → Data Usage → Mobile Data Usage

You’ll be able to see:

  • Total data used for the period
  • A breakdown by app (what’s using your data most)

⚠️ Note: This tracks by calendar month unless you manually change/reset it.

 

🍏 On iPhone:

Go to:
Settings → Mobile Data (or Cellular)

Scroll down to see:

  • Current Period Data Usage (total used)
  • A list of apps with how much data each has used

🔄 Important:

iPhones do not automatically reset each billing month, so you’ll need to:

  • Scroll down and tap “Reset Statistics” at the start of your billing cycle

This will give you a much more accurate view of your monthly usage.
