help with Id mobile contract iphone 17 pro max

Hello I have moved my contract from three to ID mobile. I used my PAC code from three to transfer my number over. The switch has taken place and if you call the number you gave me it says it is an incorrect number however when I send messages it is not using my old number and it is the number you gave me for my contract but my calls to my old number come through to this phone. How do I make my messages come from the same number?

Hi @Idmobileuser123 5

I would kindly ask that you check the following for me.

Please go into your phone settings and update your number by following these steps:

Open Settings
Tap Phone
Tap My Number
Enter the correct number using +44 instead of the first “0”

After this:

Go back to Settings
Tap Messages
Make sure iMessage is turned on
Tap Send & Receive
Check that the correct number is selected

If the above does not work, please try the following:

Customers using an iPhone 16 may not be able to change the number through the standard phone settings after a number transfer. In this case, please follow these steps:

Open Settings
Tap your name at the top
Tap Sign-In & Security
Tap your primary phone number
To remove the number from your account, tap Remove from Account
Then select Add New Primary Phone or Email and add the correct number

Please let us know if this resolves the issue.

This did not work either option failed the second one let me change the number but it said it could not be used for iMessage or FaceTime as the SIM was not associated with the number but the SIM is from ID mobile not three so it is my new SIM card please help
