My mobile is not calling or receiving non wifi calls

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Restart your phone – this refreshes your connection to the network.
  2. Check Airplane mode – toggle it on for 30 seconds, then turn it off.
  3. Check your phone number in settings – sometimes calls fail if your number isn’t set correctly:

  1. Go to Settings > About Phone > Status > SIM Status (or About Phone > SIM Card Status)
  2. Check that your phone number is displayed correctly. If it shows incorrect number or is blank. navigate to Settings > System > Reset options (or General Management > Reset on Samsung) and select Reset Network Settings
  • On iPhone:
  1. Go to Settings > Phone > My Number
  2. Make sure the number listed is correct. If not, you can edit it and restart your phone.
  • Check network settings – ensure mobile data and calling are enabled, and network selection is set to automatic.
  • Test your SIM in another phone – this helps determine if the issue is with the SIM or the device.
  • Check for outages – sometimes local mast maintenance or network issues can temporarily affect calls.
