You can’t transfer a number directly from one iD plan to another I’m afraid, you can only do so directly via upgrading or plan changing on your account.

The only workaround would be a triangle port, which we can explain more about if you need, but it’s essentially where you transfer your number to another network on Pay As You Go, then back to iD on the new plan you purchased.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with iD Mobile or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. Did my comment help answer your question? If so, don't forget to mark the response as the Most Helpful Answer.

    Hi @Hollywood18 ,

I’m really sorry for the confusion, I understand you want to keep your current number while moving to your new contract with iD Mobile.

The correct and safest way to do this is usually through an upgrade or plan change on your existing account rather than transferring between two iD contracts.

A triangle port is sometimes used as a workaround, but it involves moving your number to another network temporarily and then porting it back, which can be risky and may cause service disruption.
