    Hi @PAYEWAMS60

Thank you for reaching out, and I'm sorry to hear that you're having difficulty receiving verification text messages on your new Pixel 11. I understand how frustrating this must be, particularly as the same iD Mobile SIM receives the messages correctly when inserted into your Pixel 7.

As you've confirmed that the correct mobile number is showing on the handset, please try the following troubleshooting steps on your Pixel 11:

    1. Restart your handset
    • Switch your Pixel 11 off completely.
    • Leave it switched off for around 30 seconds.
    • Turn it back on and allow a few minutes for it to reconnect to the network.
    1. Refresh the network connection
    • Turn Airplane Mode on for around 30 seconds.
    • Turn it off again and allow a few minutes for the handset to reconnect.
    • Then test whether you can receive a verification message.
    1. Check your SMS settings
    • Open the Messages app.
    • Go to Settings and check that SMS/MMS messages are enabled.
    • Make sure the Messages app is set as your default SMS app.
    1. Check blocked or spam messages
    • Open the Messages app.
    • Check your Spam & blocked folder.
    • Make sure the bank or service sending the verification code hasn't been blocked or filtered.
    1. Check your network settings
    • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs.
    • Select your iD Mobile SIM.
    • Make sure the SIM is enabled and connected to the mobile network.
    • If available, temporarily set the preferred network type to 4G/LTE and restart the handset.
    1. Check for software updates
    • Go to Settings > System > Software Update.
    • Make sure your Pixel 11 is running the latest available Android software and install any pending updates.
    1. Reset network settings
    • If the issue continues, go to Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Mobile Network Settings.
    • Please note that this may remove saved network-related settings, so you may need to reconnect afterwards.

As the SIM receives verification messages correctly in your Pixel 7, this suggests the issue may be related to the new Pixel 11 or its messaging/network configuration rather than the SIM itself.

If you're still unable to receive verification messages after trying the above, please contact us via Live Chat. Our team can complete the necessary security checks, check the service and investigate whether there is anything affecting verification SMS delivery to your new handset.

We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we work to get this resolved.

I had a live chat with ID who advised to remove the SIM, clean it and then reinstall the SIM. Problem solved
