My phone has switched over from my old network. I am trying to set up the Id mobile app but wants to send me a code but I have had no signal to receive any messages or calls

Thank you for your post. I’m sorry you’re unable to receive the code needed to set up the iD Mobile app. I know that’s frustrating when you’re trying to get everything up and running.

Thank you for your post. It sounds like your phone may still be holding old network settings, so please try resetting your network settings using the steps below:

 

For iPhone:

Go to Settings
Tap Phone > My Number
Delete the old number and enter your new number, then tap Save
Go back to Settings > Messages
Turn iMessage OFF
Go to General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset
Tap Reset Network Settings
Once restarted, go back to Settings > Messages and turn iMessage ON again

This should help your phone recognise the new SIM and allow verification messages to come through.

 

For Android:

Go to Settings
Tap General management
Tap Reset
Select Reset network settings

 

Once done, restart your device and try setting up the app again.
