pac code system not working

I have a pac code from id mobile  [REMOVED]

when I go to switch its keep coming up with error message it’s been 3 days it’s not working

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your switch, especially after a few days, I can appreciate how frustrating that must be.

 

Just a quick note for your security, this is a public community so please avoid sharing personal details like PAC codes or mobile numbers.

 

In terms of what you’re trying to do, it sounds like there may be a bit of confusion around how PAC codes work.

 

If you’ve been given a PAC code from iD Mobile, this can only be used to move your number out of iD Mobile to a different network. It cannot be used to transfer a number between two iD Mobile accounts, as we don’t support internal number transfers using PAC codes.

 

So depending on what you’re trying to achieve:

  • Switching to another network: Your iD Mobile PAC code is correct and should be used with your new provider
  • Moving between iD Mobile accounts: A PAC code won’t work for this – you would need to speak to us about alternative options
  • Bringing a number into iD Mobile: You would need to request a PAC code from your current network and use it with iD Mobile instead

 

If you’re still getting an error when trying to use your PAC with another network, it may be worth double-checking the details you’ve entered, or speaking with the new provider as they can see exactly why the transfer is being rejected.
