Hello

When I leave the house my phone seems to flick onto emergency calls only and shows as not registered on network.

Hi, @Adsim90

Thank you for letting us know. I’m sorry to hear that your phone is showing “emergency calls only” and “not registered on network” when you leave the house.
This usually happens due to weak signal coverage in certain areas or an issue with the network connection on the device. Please try the following steps
Restart your phone – this refreshes your connection to the network.
Check network settings: Go to Settings - Mobile Network - Network Selection and make sure it’s set to Automatic.
Remove and reinsert your SIM card to ensure its properly seated.
Test the SIM in another phone – this helps us see if the issue is with the SIM or the phone itself.

Or you can try the network settings for Samsung:

1. Go to the Home screen. To open the menu, swipe up on the screen.
2. Choose Settings.
3. Scroll down. Choose Connections.
4. Choose Mobile networks.
5. Choose Network mode.
6. Choose 5G/LTE/3G/2G (auto connect).
7. The Samsung Galaxy S22 5G has now been configured for use of 5G networks. Return to the Home screen. You are able to turn off auto connect so that it remains on 5G.

Network settings for iphone:

1. Go to General, scroll down and click reset or transfer iPhone.
2. Reset
3. Reset Network Settings.
4. Once the iPhone is open.
5. Go to Settings
6. Messages Turn ON iMessage.
7.This will recognize the new sim and have it verified.
If the issue persists, please send us private message via our Socials (Facebook or Instagram), Live Chat, Community or email us at socialqueries@idmobile.co.uk.
Thank you,
Zandile
