New phone switched over yesterday from my previous provider and unless I’m on my home WiFi my phone has absolutely no connection outside of the house and says emergency only when I try to call etc ?? Please help

Thanks for getting in touch and we’re sorry to hear you’re having issues after switching over.

 

If your phone is showing “Emergency calls only” when you leave WiFi, this usually indicates the device isn’t properly connecting to the mobile network yet.

 

Please try the following steps:

General checks (both iPhone & Android):

  • Restart your phone
  • Turn Airplane Mode on for 30 seconds, then off again
  • Make sure Mobile Data is turned ON
  • Ensure Data Roaming is enabled
  • Check you are not in Flight Mode or Offline mode
  • Remove and reinsert the SIM (if applicable)

 

iPhone:

  • Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Network Selection
  • Turn off Automatic and manually select the iD Mobile / Three network
  • Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings
  • Restart the device

Android:

  • Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks
  • Tap Network Operators and select iD Mobile / Three manually
  • Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings
  • Restart the device

 

If the issue continues after trying the above, please test your SIM in another handset if possible. If it still shows no service, the SIM may not have fully provisioned yet or may need replacing.
