OK, I was told that ID mobile was now ok to use on my ipad air (no sim slot so esim only). Seems it is not ok because i cannot access the app to turn on roaming without a pin code. ipad doesnot accept text msgs. Come on ID mobile send the code by email. This needs sorting out

We're sorry to hear you're having trouble.
For security reasons, one-time passcodes can only be sent by SMS to the mobile number on the account, they can't be sent by email.
If your eSIM is in an iPad that can't receive SMS messages, you'll need to temporarily install the eSIM in a compatible device that can receive text messages in order to receive the verification code. Once you've completed the verification and enabled roaming, you can move the eSIM back to your iPad if required.
