I applied to I d mobile from abroad and got my esim. I want to set up my voicemail. The server tells me to first call from my number to set up my voicemail and set up a pin. I am abroad but i'm coughing from my number. So this is very confusing. Has anyone had the same issue? And how did you solve this.

Also how to contact customer service? It's very difficult to find a way via help hub.

Hi @Halpulaar

Thank you for getting in touch, and I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble setting up your voicemail especially while you’re abroad, I understand how confusing this must be.

With iD Mobile, voicemail setup normally requires you to call from your own number (by dialling 123) to create your PIN for the first time. Unfortunately, if you’re outside of the UK, you won’t be able to complete this initial setup.

I’m really sorry about this, but you will need to be in the UK and connected to the iD Mobile network to set up your voicemail for the first time. Once this has been done, you’ll then be able to access your voicemail from abroad.

Thank you,

I am certain i'm not the only one that is abroad and taking a mobile phone esim. There should be a way to set it from abroad using the app or special call. In this day and edge where technology is so accessible and very surprised, this is not possible
