setting up a samsung watch to make calls

Hi after some help please. I have a galaxy ultra phone and trying to set up watch to can make calls and text if my phone isnt around. I go to connect to service provider and it says air time plan not compatible with provider ??

Hi @Add79,

Thanks for getting in touch. Unfortunately, iD Mobile currently doesn’t support smartwatch eSIM/Number Share services, which is why you’re seeing the message that your airtime plan isn’t compatible.

You can still connect your Galaxy Watch to your phone via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and use calls, texts and notifications while connected. However, you won’t be able to use the watch independently for calls and texts when your phone isn’t nearby using your iD plan.
