    Hi @Rosew83,

Thank you for getting in touch, and I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. I understand that you’d like to transfer the mobile number currently on your account into your daughter’s name now that she is 19.

Unfortunately, we do not have a change of ownership process, so we’re unable to transfer the existing iD Mobile contract directly from your name into your daughter’s name.

If your daughter would like the number and a contract in her own name, the number would need to be moved to a different provider temporarily before it can be brought back to iD Mobile under a new contract.

    The process would be:

    1. Your daughter would need to place a new order in her own name with the provider she chooses.
    2. The existing iD Mobile number would need to be transferred to that provider using a PAC.
    3. The number can be transferred to a Pay As You Go SIM with the other provider if preferred.
    4. Once the number has successfully transferred away from iD Mobile, your daughter can take out a new iD Mobile contract in her own name.
    5. She can then request a PAC from the temporary provider and transfer the number back to iD Mobile.

Please note that iD Mobile cannot transfer the number directly between two iD Mobile contracts, so the number must first be transferred to another provider before it can be brought back to iD Mobile on the new contract.

If your daughter would like to take out a new iD Mobile contract, our Sales team can also discuss the available options with her. You can contact Sales via Live Chat or by calling 0800 049 0250.

We apologise that we’re unable to transfer the ownership directly, and we appreciate your understanding.
