Unable to connect to iD Mobile – idmobile.ApiError error 6

I’m currently in Turkey. I’ve purchased a roaming add-on. My phone connects to a Turkish 5G network but mobile data does not work. I also cannot access my account through the app or website as the app returns ApiError 6 and the website logs me out after sign-in.

Hi ​@Yarik1,

Have you tried Manually selecting your network? In Turkey you can choose from:

Networks: 

  • Vodafone
  • Avea

Here’s how to do it on different devices:

I'm using an iPhone:

Hide content

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Mobile Service (or Mobile Data).
  3. Tap Network Selection.
  4. Turn OFF the Automatic toggle.
  5. Wait for the list to load and select a different network.

 

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy:

Hide content

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Connections.
  3. Tap Mobile Networks.
  4. Tap Network Operators.
  5. Tap Scan networks (or turn off Select automatically).
  6. Wait for the list to load and select a different network.

 

Most other Android phones:

Hide content

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Network & Internet.
  3. Tap SIMs and select your iD Mobile SIM.
  4. Turn OFF the Automatically select network toggle.
  5. Wait for the list to load and select a different network.
