Son's phone got stolen on a night out with an ID contract SIM inside on the 22nd August 2025. Contacted ID immediately.
Been waiting since that time for a replacement SIM but still no SIM. ID assure me today that it's 3 to 5 days away.
They offered collection from my nearest Currys which is not that near and problematic given I have a spinal cord injury.
Got a letter today confirming that they were sending my account to debt collectors for full cost of the remainder of the contract due to me being late with £15. I delayed due to no SIM.
Asked if this could be placed on hold they said no.
I don't get ID mobile. It goes without saying that customers expect a service but it doesn't seem to register with them.
I have raised a complaint saying that Ill pay the 15.00 immediately but will have to now take them to small claims for breach of contract.
Really unimpressed.
