    Hi @Jamie19295

Yes, iD Mobile does support 5G in the UK.

You’ll be able to use 5G if:

Your phone is 5G compatible, and

You’re in an area with 5G coverage.

You can check your local coverage on the iD Mobile website if needed.

If you’re not seeing 5G on your phone, let me know your phone model and location and I can help troubleshoot.

    Hi @Jamie19295

    Please try the below.

How to Change Network Mode (5G/4G/3G/2G)

    Open Settings
Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the Settings icon.

    Go to Connections
    Tap Connections.

    Tap Mobile Networks
This opens your SIM and network options.

    Select Network mode
Here you’ll see a list of available preferred network types (e.g., 5G/LTE/3G/2G or variations).

    Choose your preferred mode

5G preferred – uses 5G where available, falls back to 4G/LTE otherwise.

LTE/4G preferred – sticks to 4G/LTE (good if 5G signal is weak).

Other modes (3G/2G) may appear depending on your region/carrier.

    Exit back to home screen
    Your selection takes effect immediately.

You can also try the below.

Network Settings Reset Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

    Open Quick Settings
Swipe down from the top of the screen (one or two fingers) to pull down the notification/quick-settings panel.

    Open Settings
    Tap the Settings icon.

    Go to General Management
    Scroll and tap General management.

    Open Reset Options
    Tap Reset.

    Select Reset Network Settings
Tap Reset mobile network settings (or similar).

    Confirm Reset
Tap Reset settings → confirm Reset.

    Done
Your network settings will reset these clears saved Wi-Fi networks (and passwords), Bluetooth pairings & mobile network preferences.

    Thanks,
    Hosai
