I had a phone call from Id moblie saying my sim card going to be locked as I running off 4g network and saying that need 5g network and I got samsung a12

    Hi ​@Darren loakes ,

     

    Thanks for getting in touch. I can confirm that your Samsung A12 is a 4G-only device, so it will not connect to 5G. Your SIM will not be locked because of this, you can continue using your phone on the 4G network without any issues.

    The call you received may have been misleading, but there’s no requirement to upgrade to 5G for your SIM to work. Your device and plan will continue to work as normal.
