Accessing a deceased person's number who has an eSim

I need to access the phone number of a deceased person, but they have an eSim so there is no physical sim to move to a different phone. ID Mobile do not offer the ability to transfer the number. All they can do is close the account. Does anyone know of any other method I can try as with everything being online nowadays, I need to access verification codes that are sent to that phone.
