Hi @Pookie67,

We're sorry to hear you're having issues with iMessage and FaceTime.

This can sometimes happen after changing networks, replacing a SIM, or transferring your number.

We'd recommend trying the following:

  • Go to Settings > Phone > My Number and make sure your correct mobile number is showing.
  • Go to Settings > Messages and turn iMessage off.
  • Go to Settings > FaceTime and turn FaceTime off.
  • Restart your iPhone.
  • Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
  • Once the phone restarts, turn iMessage and FaceTime back on.
  • Allow up to 24 hours for Apple to complete the activation process.

You'll also need to be able to send and receive standard SMS messages, as Apple uses these during activation.

If you're still receiving the registration error after trying the above, please let us know whether you've recently joined iD Mobile or transferred your number, as this can help identify the cause.

Regards,
