battery charging very slow

Hi hope someone can help with this. Had phone less than a year and the battery is just not charging I am using original wire and used to charge fully overnight now I'm lucky if gets to 50 percent also draining quick

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with the battery, especially as you’ve had the phone for less than a year.

As the handset may still be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, we’d recommend contacting the phone manufacturer directly. They’ll be able to carry out the necessary checks and advise whether the battery or handset needs to be inspected or repaired under warranty.

Hi @Bekhugo,

You can take the phone into a Currys store to see if they’re able to assist.

Alternatively, you can contact the handset manufacturer directly for support with the fault. For example, if you have an iPhone, you can contact Apple, or if you have a Samsung device, you can contact Samsung and so on.

The manufacturer will be able to assess the handset and advise what repair or replacement options are available under the warranty.
