Switched from o2 to id mobile. (PAC) eSIM

Only some calls come through and no texts.

When I call people the new id mobile number comes up not my original o2 one.

I've done All the trouble shooting and no luck

Hi @Danielle10

Thanks for getting in touch, and I’m sorry you’re experiencing issues after your switch from O2 I know how important it is for everything to work smoothly straight away.

From what you’ve described, this sounds like your number port (PAC transfer) is still in the final stages of completing fully across all services.

📌 First, please check your number in settings

Go to:
Settings → Mobile Service → SIM / eSIM details

Please confirm:

  • Is your original O2 number showing correctly, or
  • Is it still displaying the temporary iD Mobile number?

This helps confirm whether the transfer has fully updated on your device.

⏳ Please allow time for full activation

Even once a PAC transfer has gone through, it can take up to 24 hours for all services (calls, texts, caller ID) to fully update across the network.

During this period, it’s normal to experience:

  • Some calls coming through, others not
  • Missing or delayed text messages
  • Outgoing calls occasionally showing the temporary iD number

🔄 What to do next

  • Allow the full 24 hours to complete
  • Restart your phone after this period
  • Then re-check Settings → Mobile Service to ensure your correct number is displayed
  • Try making and receiving calls/texts again once complete

  • At 2.26pm i received a text to say the switch has been complete.
I've switched my phone off and on several times.
I've done all the troubleshooting and still no joy.
I can get calls from a couple of people but not all.
For instance my partner can call me but my daughter can't.
I've tried to log into my nhs app which sends me a text to log in but nothing comes through.
I have no access now to my old number through my old phone as o2 have cut it off.
    I'm gwtting very frustrated
