Can’t receive important texts. Texts don’t always send

Since I have joined ID mobiles, my text messages always show an error sign and don’t always go through. 

I also don’t receive all text messages either. 

My main issue is I can’t seem to receive important text messages such as appointments and codes. I have regular health appointments that are texted to me and they are not coming through. I also have one time codes sent to my number but they are not coming through. For example, I can’t access my work emails now because the one time code to log in is not coming through. This is vital for me whilst I’m on call for a children’s home. I need to have access to my emails in case of emergency information. 

I can see through community messages that this is a problem for many people. I have never had such an issue with any network before. I have been paying for this contract and not being able to use the unlimited texts that I am paying for and don’t believe this is fair at all. 

I have tried to reset the network in settings etc. Nothing seems to work. 

Please can you provide some help and support.

Are you trying to send and receive texts from a short code number or a Premium Rate Service?

If so, these will charged for and you will need to increase you Bill Cap to ensure they get through:-

With regards to the OTP, can change your settings so that you get it sent by email to your personal email address?

If all this doesn’t help, then can you let us know what phone you have so that we can try to find the right answer.

Hello, 

 

Thank you for your quick response 😊 The text messages shouldn’t be at an extra charge. 

Unfortunately, outlook isn’t giving an option for the code to be sent anywhere else only my mobile number. 

I was also supposed to receive a message for a hospital appointment and also for another appointment from a healthcare centre but haven’t received these. 

 

I have an iphone 16.
