Can’t receive texts after porting old number to ID

Moved to ID and brought my old number with me. I’ve been able to receive calls but not texts. Important for bank verifications etc 

looked through previous questions and looked at my iPhone settings under mobile services and the phone number listed is the number that came with the id sim rather than my number I’ve ported over.

tried to edit the number and save it but it won’t let me. Any advice

    I have the same issue with an iPhone 13. 

    I can make and receive calls, and send texts, but not receive them. 

    Also, when I call someone the number appears as Unknown, although my name appears when I send a text.
