Cancelled my plan a day after making it but received no confirmation outside of livechat.

I recently came to the end of my ee sim plan and decided to switch to ID mobile, i received a PAC code from ee on the 13th of August and used it to create my new ID mobile plan (esim) on the 15th of August. I wanted to keep my phone number and selected that option, but after completing the order I was given a new number anyway. I then learned that ID’s coverage in my area was poor, so I decided to terminate my plan a day after creating it (cancel on the 16th of August). I went through the livechat option and spoke with a human about terminating my plan within the cooling off period to not accrue any leaving costs. The person confirmed my cancellation was successful, and I requested a PAC code. Since my supposed cancellation I have received no confirmation of cancellation outside of the Livechat and I still receive emails saying I will be charged at the end of the month. I want to confirm with ID mobile that I have successfully cancelled my plan and can receive a PAC code for when I switch network, as I cannot gain any headway with the chatbot or the livechat currently.

If you’ve received a PAC from iD Mobile, make sure to use it. Your account won’t close until you do!

All iD Mobile plans will come with a new number, even if you plan to move another number over to us.

 

If you requested a PAC code to move away from iD Mobile, you’ll need to use it to cancel the iD Mobile plan, if you don’t use it, the plan would continue as normal.
