cant make outgoing calls

Hi

Any advice please

 

i am using an Iphone 15 and just upgraded. Reason for upgrade is when I went to make an outgoing call the phone dials out but I get no sound- the other person is dialled but they’re is no sound either end. 
 

The same thing happened on my old iphone.  I tried a complete reset on my old phone and thought the issue was the phone. However the new phone is doing the same thing 

 

any idea on how to fix this please?

Does it only happen at home or in one area, or everywhere you go?

Hi 

I’m having the same issue with making calls from my iphone 17.  Have reset. Think I’ve tried everything?! Surely it must be something simple?? Please could someone help me? 🙂‍↕️

As the same problem occurred on both your previous iPhone and your new iPhone 15, this suggests the issue is unlikely to be handset-related and may instead be linked to your network settings, SIM/eSIM configuration, or service provisioning.

 

To help us investigate and resolve this for you, please try the following steps:

 

Turn Airplane Mode on for 30 seconds, then turn it off again
Restart your iPhone
Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings
If you are using a physical SIM, remove and reinsert it securely (or reinstall your eSIM if applicable)

 

If the issue persists after this, could you please confirm:

Whether this happens on every outgoing call or only specific numbers
Whether incoming calls work normally
Your full postcode so we can check local network performance
Whether you are using SIM or eSIM
