Can someone please help. I switched my sim only plan to id mobile last week (with a e-sim). I can make and receive some calls and messages but not all….for some reason I seem to now have a primary, secondary and business line?!?! So some calls are just not coming through and some calls I make just endless it’s from my primary account. Same with messages - for example I cannot reply to certain message from a competition line I used to use. I am also getting random messages from JibeRCS with verification codes. I have no idea why. I tried to “speak” to id- they advised a reset which has made no difference. This is very frustrating

Hi @Sam Maclean

With regards to entering short code competitions you may need to increase your bill cap so that it covers any Out of Plan costs it as these are not included:-

With regards to the ‘ primary, secondary and business line ‘ I don’t have an answer for that.

As for the ‘getting random messages from JibeRCS with verification codes’  I have found this information:-

Jibe RCS is the platform that Google uses for its Rich Communication Services (RCS) messaging, which is Android's modern alternative to traditional SMS and MMS

. It enables features like read receipts, typing indicators, and sending high-quality media over both mobile data and Wi-Fi. If you are receiving "JibeRCS" verification messages, it means the system is trying to verify or deregister a phone number with the RCS service, often because someone has switched from an Android to an iPhone.

What to do if you're getting Jibe RCS messages:-
  •  Because the Jibe RCS service, which is the Google equivalent to Apple's iMessage, is trying to verify you and hence keeps sending you SMS messages. As this service is exclusive to Android (just as iMessage is an Apple-only messaging service) you can no longer use it on your iPhone, but you still need to switch it off on your old Android phone to get rid of the messages.

    Here's how:
    Switch on your old Android phone
    -> Go into "Messages"
    -> Select the three dots at top right
    -> Select Settings
    -> Chat features
    -> Toggle "Enable chat features"
    -> OFF

You can contact iD Mobile through the following channels:-.

To speak to a live chat agent:-

https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

Type ‘talk to a person’ when you open the dialogue box to bypass the chatbot.
Please be patient as the agents handle a few conversations at any one time so there will be a delay in connecting with an available agent and also any replies to your query.

You can also contact iD Mobile via:-

Send a private message via their Socials (Facebook, X or Instagram)
iD Mobile social media accounts:-

or email socialqueries@idmobile.co.uk.

Hope this helps x
